Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned roll off trucks in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR), reporting any issues for corrective action.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times.
• Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage promptly to management or dispatch.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules, completing all required documentation at the end of each route.
• Communicate customer requests, service issues, or route problems to dispatch or management as needed.
• Position containers on customer property safely, ensuring they do not block driveways or traffic.
• Participate in all required training sessions, briefings, and meetings.
• Assist other company drivers as directed by management or dispatch.
• Utilize phone applications for dispatching and routing as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least two years of roll off truck driving experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, including employment verification and motor vehicle record review.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
